Graduations / Funding news

NSF Funding: “Foamability of Ionic Micellar Solutions: Adsorption Kinetics and Supramolecular Surface Forces” from CBET: Process Systems, Reaction Engineering and Molecular Thermodynamics program (2018-2021). (Abstract).

MS Compeled (Summer 2017): Nikila Parsi, Ivan Akhremtichev, Christopher Norgbey, Camila Uribe, Mahmoud Abdel-Latif and Nguyet (Luna) Le.

PHD Completed: Yiran Zhang defends his dissertation research successfully, and becomes the first student to graduate with a doctorate from the ODES-lab. Yiran will carry out post-doctoral research in Susan Muller’s group at University of California, Berkeley.

Funding: Dr. Sharma received $15000 from COE Annual Funds to organize Mentored Professional Development Program for Future Chemical Engineers in Summer 2016.

Funding: Dr. Sharma’s research proposal on printability picked for funding (20K) by CRB (Campus Research Board).
